Bynum is helping Mattie with her issue of not being able to let go of her feelings for her boyfriend, who has left her.In my opinion, Binum gives Mattie good advice by advising her to let it go and move on with her life. He tells her that while she is spending time worrying about Jack, there is someone searching for her doorsteps.

Bynum has helped many people in Seth's house. He is now helping Loomis. He is helping Loomis to find who he is. He is trying to help Loomis vent when he sings the Joe Turner song. He sings the Joe Turner song because he knew that Loomis was with Joe Turner and was holding that inside of him. Bynum sings the song and tries to get Loomis to vent about his time with Joe Turner so that he won't be so hostile all the time. Venting will help Loomis let go of some of the pain that he is holding inside.

Bynum is good at helping people in Seth's house. He is trying to help Loomis due to his grief of his wife leaving him. He is trying to help Loomis feel better because Loomis is not acting like his old self. Most of all he is trying to show Loomis the truth about himself and get rid of his pain.

I agree with both Raycha and Kelley. He is helping Loomis find his own song and he is also helping Mattie break free of her past as well.

Bynum helps many people through the play, but he is the most succesful in helping Mattie, Ruben and Lommis. Bynum helps Mattie by getting her to stop thinking about and looking for the boyfriend who left her. He helps Ruben by getting him to let his friends pigions go like his friend asked him to as a death wish. He infulences Lommis the most, Bynum helped Loomis find his lost wife and he helped Loomis find his purpose again after he lost his purpose when he was taken away from his wife.

I agree with Kelley. Bynum has helped a lot of people in Seth’s house. He is trying to help Mattie get over her old boyfriend. She is having a hard time letting go. He has helped Loomis to see that without Martha, he is someone. He wants Loomis to find his wife but first wants him to see that he can make it without Martha if he didn’t find her.

Agreeing wit everyone, Bynum does try to help people find their own song and their own identities. When talking to Loomis about Joe Turner he says "he's got you bound up to where you can't sing your own song. Couldn't sing it them seven years 'cause you was afraid he would snatch it from under you."

Binum helps many people im Seth's house. Binum helps Loomis find himself. When Loomis was having his vision he sad he couldn't stand up, Binum told Loomis tht he couldn't stand up because he forgot his song, his purpose in life. Binum also tries to help Mattie. Mattie is sad because Jack left her, Binum tells her that sometimes people aren't ment to be together and in that case he can not bring them back together. Mattie speaks less about Jack. Binum in a way helped her get over Jack.

I agree with Kelley and Raycha. Bynum is helping Loomis although it my seem as though he is being sarcastic at times. He is also trying to help Mattie.
